I have had several of Bertolli’s frozen meals and their Chicken Florentine and Farfalle is so far my favorite.  I usually get Bertolli’s frozen meals when they go on sale.  Even though this is delicious I am not convinced it is worth the full price.  I am usually scared of frozen meals with chicken.  A lot of the times the chicken is nothing like chicken, but some weird version of what chicken is supposed to be.  The chicken in this dish was actually pretty good.  It was tender and delicious.  The spinach is wonderful and adds a nice touch.  It also gives color to the dish.  Bertolli gives a generous portion of both the chicken and the spinach.  The chicken is also a good size, it is not in small little pieces throughout the dish.  A lot of times frozen meals are not generous with the chicken or the chicken pieces are really small.  This meal is just right for two people.  Although, it would have to be two people with smaller stomaches.  I think if it were two men they might still be hungry.  Sometimes I wish there was more because it is so delicious.

The farfelle is  a good choice of pasta for this dish.  It holds the sauce well and it goes nice with the chicken and spinach.  It also cooks perfectly al dente.  I also really liked the sauce.  I am not usually a big fan of white sauces.  Not because I do not like it, but because it is hard to find someone who makes it good.  But, Bertolli makes a good white sauce.  This sauce has just the right amount of white wine and Parmesan-Romano cheese.  I could drink this sauce.  The chicken and spinach is also a nice pairing with the sauce.

Not only is this dish delicious, but it is pretty.  The presentation is nice.  This dish has just the right combination of every ingredient.  There is nothing overpowering.  Chicken Florentine and Farfelle is deliciously wonderful.  Bertolli Chicken Florentine and Farfelle is priced at around $8.99.

Out of 5 stars I give this dish 4.5.  I leave off a half a star because of the price.  I think this dish should be priced a little bit less.
